Terms of service
The deal, in plain words
These are the terms you agree to when you rent from us. They are written to be read, not to be survived, and every number in them matches what you see at checkout.
Last updated 15 August 2026
1.Who can rent
- You must be 18 or older. That applies to the whole fleet.
- You must hold a valid, current driving licence.
- You must carry Full coverage (comprehensive & collision). We check it before you drive away.
- The card used for the hold must be in your own name.
Only the person named on the booking may drive the car. Letting anyone else drive it ends the rental immediately and voids the cover.
2.Booking and confirmation
A booking is not confirmed until we have spoken to you and checked your documents. If we cannot verify your licence or insurance we will cancel and release the hold in full.
Changes and cancellations need 48 hours’ notice. Call or text as early as you can.
3.Payment and the card fee
The daily rate shown on each car is the daily rate. On top of it:
- Delivery where it applies: Palm Beach free, Broward $100, Miami-Dade $150.
- A 7% fee on card payments. That is what it costs us to accept a card, and it is passed on rather than built into every rate. Pay with Cash, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, PayPal and there is no fee at all.
Rentals of 3 days or more get $75 off automatically.
4.The deposit
A refundable hold from $500, depending on the car. It is an authorisation, not a charge: the money is held by your bank and never taken.
It is released 24 to 48 hours after the car comes back. Banks can take a further day or two to show it, which is outside our control.
We may take from the hold for damage, missing fuel, unpaid mileage or a traffic fine incurred during your rental. If we do, you are told what and why, with photographs.
5.Mileage
Every rental includes 100 miles a day. For almost every booking that is more than enough.
- $1 per mile over the allowance. Added at the end. No drama.
- $2 per mile if you go over without telling us. The higher rate is for the silence, not the miles. An unreported overage can mean the car misses its next booking or its next service.
Tell us before you go over, or as soon as you know, and you pay the lower rate. A text costs you nothing and saves you half. If you know in advance that you need more miles, say so when you book and we will agree it up front.
6.Fuel and condition
The car arrives with a full tank and should come back with one. Otherwise we refuel it and charge what it cost.
Bring it back in the condition you got it. Ordinary use is expected and fine. Smoking in any car, transporting animals without agreeing it first, and returning a car that needs specialist cleaning are all chargeable.
7.What you cannot do with the car
- Race it, track it, or take it to any timed event.
- Drive it outside Florida without agreeing it with us first.
- Let anybody else drive it.
- Use it for any commercial hire, delivery or rideshare work.
- Drive it under the influence of anything.
- Tow with it, or carry anything that will not fit properly inside.
Any of these ends the rental immediately, voids the insurance, and makes you responsible for the full value of the car.
8.If something goes wrong
Call (561) 517-3771 straight away. Do not arrange repairs or recovery yourself.
In an accident, call the police and get a report. Do not admit fault at the roadside. Take photographs if it is safe to.
Parking tickets, tolls and traffic fines during your rental are yours, along with any administrative charge we incur passing them on.
9.Filming and social media
Dudley films car handovers and posts them, along with photographs of the cars, to social media. It is a large part of how this business is found.
You are asked to agree to this separately at checkout, and it is optional. Ticking it means you are happy to appear in photographs and video that may be posted publicly, and that you are not owed anything for it.
Declining costs you nothing. Same car, same price, and you will not be asked again in person. If you agree and later change your mind, tell us and anything you appear in comes down.
See the privacy policy for how we handle the rest of your information.
10.Our responsibility
We maintain the cars and hand them over in good order. If a car is genuinely unavailable through our fault, we will put you in a comparable one or refund you in full, whichever you prefer.
We are not responsible for onward losses: a missed flight, a missed reservation, or a plan that depended on the car. Our liability is limited to what you paid for the rental.
11.Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida, and any dispute is dealt with in the Florida courts.
