Can you rent a car at 18 in Florida?
Yes, with Dud Rents. Many big rental brands won't rent until 21 or 25, and block luxury classes for younger drivers. We rent every car to drivers 18 and up.
- Age 18 and up for every car.
- Same requirements at 18 as at 40.
- Luxury and exotic cars included.
What do I need to rent a car under 25?
- Age 18 or older.
- A valid driver's license.
- Full coverage insurance (comprehensive and collision), checked before you drive.
- A refundable hold on a card, shown at checkout before you confirm.
If you're on a parent's policy, send a photo of the policy and Dud Rents will check whether it covers a rental.
Which cars do younger drivers rent most?
- BMW 530i: our most booked car, quiet and easy to drive.
- Mercedes C300 AMG: everyday luxury with a great cabin.
- Corvette C8 Stingray: the birthday car.
- BMW M4 Drop Top: top down on A1A.
What are the rules for every renter?
- 100 to 150 miles a day included.
- No racing or track use.
- No other drivers and no rideshare use.
- Leaving Florida needs approval.
- Tolls, parking tickets and fines are the renter's.
- Full tank out, full tank back.
How does booking work?
- Pick a car on the fleet page. Green days are open, red days are taken.
- Choose free pickup, with delivery available to your hotel, Airbnb or the airport.
- Dud Rents checks your license and insurance, then Dudley calls to confirm.
- Bring it back with a full tank, same as you got it.
