To rent an exotic or luxury car in Miami with DUD Rents you must be 18 or older, hold a valid driver's license, and carry full coverage insurance with comprehensive and collision. Deposits run $500 to $2,000 depending on the car and are refundable holds, released within 24 to 48 hours of return.
The four things you need
You are 18 or older. Most exotic companies in Miami gate at 25. We do not.
A valid driver's license. Out of state is fine. International is fine, though bring your passport too.
Full coverage insurance. This is the one that catches people out, so read the next section.
A credit card with room on it. Enough for the rental plus the refundable hold.
The insurance rule nobody explains properly
Your policy needs comprehensive and collision, and it needs to extend to a rented vehicle of this value. Two things people assume and get wrong:
Liability only is not enough. Liability covers what you do to someone else. It does not cover the car you are driving.
Credit card rental coverage usually excludes exotics by name. Most premium cards carve out "exotic" or "high value" vehicles in the fine print. If you are relying on your card, read the benefits guide before you book rather than at the handover.
If you do not have coverage that works, tell us before you book. There are other ways to sort it and we would rather find one than turn you away at the door.
How the deposit actually works
It is a hold, not a charge. We authorize $500 to $2,000 on your card depending on the car. The money never leaves your account. It is released within 24 to 48 hours after you bring the car back.
The reason it exists is simple: it covers the insurance deductible if something happens. It is the same number, not an extra fee.

If you are under 25

What we do not accept
Deposits are held on a major credit card. We do not take Zelle, Cash App, crypto or wire transfer for deposits.
That is worth saying out loud, because some operators in this market do, and it is the single most common way people get taken. A real company holds a deposit on a card you can dispute. If somebody asks you to send a deposit any other way, walk.
