Renting an exotic car in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale with Dud Rents costs $200 to $1,100 a day, plus a refundable deposit of $500 to $1,000 depending on the car. You need to be 18 or older, hold a valid driver's license and carry full coverage insurance. Delivery anywhere in Palm Beach County or Broward is $100, and pick-up is free.

That is the short version. Here is the rest, with every number taken from the Dud Rents fleet page.

How much does it cost to rent an exotic car in West Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale?

Daily rates at Dud Rents run from $200 for a BMW 530i or Mercedes-Benz C300 AMG up to $1,100 for the Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica. Most sports cars and big SUVs sit between $350 and $575 a day. Every rate is listed on the fleet page.

Here is a sample across the 22-car fleet:

  • Mercedes-Benz C300 AMG (Sedan): $200 a day, $500 deposit

  • Audi RS5 (Coupe): $275 a day, $700 deposit

  • Corvette C8 Stingray (Sports): $350 a day, $1,000 deposit

  • Cadillac Escalade Luxury Platinum (SUV): $375 a day, $1,000 deposit

  • BMW M4 Drop Top (Convertible): $400 a day, $1,000 deposit

  • Audi R8 (Sports): $700 a day, $1,000 deposit

  • Mercedes-Benz GLS Maybach (SUV): $850 a day, $1,000 deposit

  • Lamborghini Urus (SUV): $1,000 a day, $1,000 deposit

  • Lamborghini Huracan (Sports): $1,000 a day, $1,000 deposit

  • Lamborghini Huracan Tecnica (Sports): $1,100 a day, $1,000 deposit

Longer rentals get cheaper on their own. Book 2 or more days and you get $25 off. At 3 days it is $75 off, then $100 at 5 days, $150 at 7, $300 at 14 and $500 at 30 days. You get the single highest discount you qualify for, not all of them added up. Out Friday and back Sunday counts as 2 days.

How does the deposit work?

The deposit is a hold on your payment, not a charge. It starts at $500 and goes up to $1,000 depending on the car, and it is released after you bring the car back. The money is never taken unless something needs to be covered.

What can come out of the hold: damage, missing fuel, unpaid mileage, tolls or a traffic fine from your rental. If anything is taken, you are told what and why, with photos.

Release timing: the site says 24 hours after return. Your bank may take another day or two to show it.

What do you need to rent an exotic car in Palm Beach County or Broward?

You need three things: be 18 or older, a valid driver's license, and full coverage insurance (comprehensive and collision). Dud Rents checks your insurance before you drive. A lot of rental companies make you wait until 25. Dud Rents rents the whole fleet to 18 and up.

Not sure your policy covers a rental? Text a photo of it to (561) 517-3771 and the team will look. A card in your own name for the hold is optional, so ask if that's an issue.

Only the person named on the booking can drive. Letting someone else drive ends the rental.

Are there extra fees?

The extras are short and shown before you confirm:

  • Delivery: Palm Beach $100, Broward $100, Miami-Dade $150. Pick-up is free.

  • Card fee: 7% on anything paid by card. Pay with Cash, Zelle, Cash App, Venmo or PayPal and there is no fee. The daily rate is the same either way.

  • Mileage: 100 miles a day included, then $1 a mile over ($2 a mile if you go over without telling the team). If you know you need more miles, say so when you book.

  • Fuel: the car comes full and should come back full, or you pay what it cost to refuel.

  • Tolls and tickets: yours. Tolls come out of the deposit first, with no 7% fee on tolls.

How does booking work, step by step?

  1. Open the fleet page and pick a car.

  2. Pick your dates on the calendar. Green days are open, red days are taken.

  3. Choose delivery to your county or free pick-up.

  4. See the full price, including the deposit, before you commit. Checking costs nothing.

  5. Confirm. You get a text and an email, and Dudley calls to confirm, usually within minutes during open hours.

The booking is final once the team has spoken with you and checked your license and insurance. If they cannot verify them, the booking is canceled and the hold released in full.

Need to change plans? Give 48 hours' notice by call or text.

What should you expect at the handover?

The car shows up clean with a full tank. Dudley checks your documents, hands you the keys, and you drive. He often films handovers for social media, which is how a lot of people find Dud Rents. That part is optional. You can say no at checkout and the car and price stay the same.

If anything goes wrong during the rental, call (561) 517-3771 right away. Do not arrange repairs or towing yourself. Every car is covered, and the team would rather hear early.

A few rules to know: no racing or track days, no rideshare or delivery work, and no leaving Florida unless you agree it first.
